The 29-year-old Japanese streetwear brand, A BATHING APE, has a new World Cup sneaker collection paying homage to three football-obsessed nations. One of these new releases is the A BATHING APE BAPESTA France.

The shiny patent leather upper proudly shows off French flag colours. The toe cap is a vivid red while the rest of the overlays on the eye stay panel, the foxing and the heel tab are all in blue. The toe box and the quarter are pure white. The iconic BAPESTA Star logo unobtrusively streaks across the medial and lateral sides of the shoe, blending in with the mid-panels. BAPE black-and-white branding adorns the tongue tab and a silver BAPE “Ape”-shaped lace lock appears on the vamp. A white midsole with debossed red BAPE text branding and a blue rubber outsole complete the look of these kicks.
